David Needleman (photographer)

David Needleman (born December 6, 1978) is an American photographer noted for his celebrity portraiture.
Early life and education
Needleman was born in New York City, NY and grew up in Long Island, NY. He studied at the School of Visual Arts and soon after began to work for American fashion photographer Steven Meisel, who was his mentor and is also his uncle.
Career
He began working with L'Uomo Vogue in 2011, and has ever since worked as a regular contributor of celebrity portraiture for Interview Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, and Billboard Magazine. He has also worked with Vanity Fair.
Needleman has also worked on advertising projects, campaigns, and album covers for Capitol Records, Universal Music Group, CBS, Net-A-Porter, Saks 5th Avenue, Dior, and more. The celebrities whose portraits Needleman has made include Millie Bobby Brown, Avril Lavigne, Adrien Brody, Priyanka Chopra, Susan Sarandon, and Nick Jonas.
Personal life
He lives and works between New York City, NY and Los Angeles, CA. David married his husband, Evan Minskoff, in 2013. His nephew is Kelly Needleman.
