Dr. David Madow, born in Baltimore, Maryland, is a writer and health and fitness expert. He is best known in the United States as the author of the book "IMPRESS THE WORLD WITH YOUR BODY IN SEVEN DAYS." Dr. Madow travels all over North America educating and entertaining audiences on how to set goals for themselves, how to get into the best shape of their lives, and how to be happy and successful.
Madow is a former practicing dentist. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1980. Madow did a general practice residency from 1980 - 1981 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital which was part of the East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. From 1981 - 1982 he worked as an associate in the practice of Thomas A. Drucker, DDS in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Madow owned a dental practice from 1983 - 1993 in Ellicott City, Maryland with his former classmate, Dr. Steven Becker. In 1989, while he was still practicing dentistry, Dr. Madow along with his brother Rich, started The Madow Brothers, which is an educational business that helps dentists and their team members become more successful. Their widely known TBSE seminar is held every fall in Las Vegas, Nevada and is attended to by thousands of dentists and team members.
In 2008 he published his first book, "IMPRESS THE WORLD WITH YOUR BODY IN SEVEN DAYS." Dr. David Madow, teaching his "SEVEN DAY Lifestyle," has been featured on numerous radio and television shows across the United States. He is commonly referred to by many as "THE SEVEN DAY GUY."
In 2008, David began working part time in the Grand Canyon National Park as a Preventative Search and Rescue Volunteer. An experienced backpacker, Dr. Madow helps to educate visitors on the trails so they will be able to hike and backpack safely, hopefully minimizing the number of illnesses, injuries and rescues that take place during the hot summer months.
Madow resides in Reisterstown, Maryland and Highland Beach, Florida. His interests outside of work include skiing, hiking, running, backpacking, and the Grand Canyon.
