David Thomas Kennedy, 9th Marquess of Ailsa, (3 July 1958) is a Scottish peer and the hereditary Clan Chief of Clan Kennedy. Life David Thomas Kennedy was born on 3 July 1958, the younger son of Archibald Kennedy, 7th Marquess of Ailsa. Lord Ailsa is the younger brother of Archibald Kennedy, 8th Marquess of Ailsa, whom he succeeded after his death in January 2015. Before inheriting the title and estates, Ailsa had a farm near Maybole in Ayrshire. Personal life Lord Ailsa has two children, one daughter and one son: * Lady Katherine Jean Kennedy (b. 22 Oct 1993) * Archibald David Kennedy, Earl of Cassillis (b. 7 Sep 1995)<ref name="burkes" /> |
