David J. Campisi (born, 1956) is a businessman who currently serves as CEO and President at Big Lots Inc. Executive roles Campisi became Chief Executive Officer and President of Big Lots Inc., in 2013. He took over the role from Steve Fishman, upon the latter’s retirement. For a year prior to that, Campisi was CEO and Chairman of Respect Your Universe, Inc. Between 2005 and 2011 he was President of The Sports Authority, and from 2010 until 2011, its CEO. Other roles he held there included: President of Merchandising and Executive Vice President. Prior to The Sports Authority, Campisi held a variety of key roles at Kohl’s Corp.
