David Baden-Powell, 5th Baron of Gilwell

David Baden-Powell, 5th Baron of Gilwell (born 6 January 1971) is an IT professional and an active supporter of the Scout Movement.
David is the eldest son of David Michael Baden-Powell, 4th Baron Baden-Powell and Joan Phillips née Berryman. He inherited the barony following the death of his father in 2023. David Baden-Powell is the great-grandson of the founder of World Scouting, Robert Baden-Powell, and Olave Baden-Powell née Soames.
Scouting
Baden-Powell is an active member of Scouts Australia as a scout leader in Victoria, Australia, attending both international and domestic events.
He has represented Scouts Australia at a number of international events - 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea, the 18th National Scout Jamboree experience in the Philippines, the 10th National Scout Jamboree in Sri Lanka, in 2024 the 12th National Jamboree in Taiwan.
Personal life
Baden-Powell married Edwina Sophie née Foster, daughter of Graham Fraser Foster, on 23 February 2001. They have two children, a daughter, Charlotte, born on 2006 and a son, Maxwell, born in 2009.
