Constable Dave Woodford is an Ontario Provincial Police officer and a frequent face on accident and traffic incidents in the Greater Toronto Area. Woodford began his policing career in Cardinal, Ontario and then transferred to the Napanee Police in Napanee, Ontario. The Napanee forece was later merged into the Ontario Provincial Police. Woodford has served in various capacities in the OPP: * District Criminal Investigations unit. * Court Officer 1993-2001 in Aurora, Ontario * Community Services Officer 2001-present Woodford is a married father of 3 daughters and owns a restaurant in Barrie, Ontario. The 22 year veteran police officer will likely be the new face of the OPP traffic blitz with the retirement of Cam Woolley in September 2008. |
