Dave Courvoisier is a Television News Anchorman/Broadcast Journalist with more than 35 years experience in media. Dave Courvoisier is currently employed at KLAS-TV (CBS) in Las Vegas, NV. He has won multiple Emmy Awards for broadcast journalism. A graduate of the University of Illinois, and a native of rural Illinois, Dave began his broadcasting career at a KCCC radio in Carlsbad, NM in 1977. A year later, he became a radio personality at KEXO radio in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 1980 Courvoisier began working as a news anchor/reporter at the ABC affiliated TV station in Grand Junction, CO: KJCT-TV. In the years that followed, Courvoisier worked as a news anchor/reporter in West Lafayette, IN; Cape Girardeau, MO; Greensboro, NC; and Las Vegas, NV. At the NBC affiliate in Las Vegas, KVBC-TV (now KSNV-TV), Courvoisier established a 13-year career as the main news anchorman. During that time, he was recognized for his work with charitable organizations that advocate for the rights of disadvantaged children. The focus for his work in this area was a weekly profile of a foster child seeking an adoptive home: "Wednesday's Child". Courvoisier held positions in such child advocacy organizations as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and Critical Reach. publishes a daily blog for the voice-actor community, and helped to establish World-Voices.org, the first Industry Trade Association for voice actors. He became the President of World-Voices Organization in May 2015. Dave is married to Victoria Holt Courvoisier of Cape Girardeau, MO, and has three daughters.
