Location
: No. 210 Mingcheng East Rd., Dashi Township, Taoyuan County

Campus
:The school covers an area of 5.3126 hectare and sited aside Mayhua Mountain. School is located beside river and mountain which has magnificent scenery.
:School area has a multi-ecological environment. Mayhua Mountain presents different feature and scenery as seasons change.
:In such a huge botanic school yard, there are a few grey buildings collocated with some different functional buildings such as administration building, art building, science building and multi-function building etc.
:School has perfect sport facilities such as 400m PU runway, a field for soccer and softball practice, 3 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, 4 badminton courts and one activity center.

Classes
:9 years national education is our main strategy. We established course development committee and push the development of each course through specialized course team in a steady pace. We have 4 main course targets:
::a. In all our teaching programs, we designed courses that are more suitable for our students.
::b. Improve the communication between teachers and develop the sprite of team-work.
::c. According to the content of each course and the topic of each week, we arrange different activities.
::d. In first semester, we arrange School Anniversary Sporting Competition. In second semester, we have Parents & Teacher Meeting and Cross Country as our main topic.

Characteristics
:School Characteristics:
::(1.) We are closed to mountain and have a quiet environment. Our campus is separated from the city which our teaching and activities will not be affected by outside disturbance and has made our campus a fine learning place.
::(2.) Due to the influence of Dashi’s natural beauty and its nice tradition folkways, students have well self-control which creates unsophisticated school spirit.
::(3.) Our staff’s average age is young. All of them committed to their teaching with enthusiasm. Our new comer staff also fit in the school environment quickly and they are responsible for their scope of work. The teachers know the students’ status well and have close contact with their families.
::(4.) We emphasize in life education. We rarely have students leave school without permission. We have strategies in environment maintenance and manner. We also provide our school environment for society to use after class.
::(5.) We are friendly with our community; always provide our facilities for community and culture activities.
:Club Activities:
::We have a lot of club activities from Grade 1 to 3, including Chinese Orchestra, Basketball Club, Harmonica Club, Track and Field Club, Arts Club, Softball Club, Publishing & Editing Club, Scouts, and Badminton Club.

History
:Our school was founded on 17th October, 1946 named “Dasi Junior High School”. The school was renamed “Taoyuan County Dasi Junior High School” in 1968 when government executed the 9 year national standard education. Dashi has the most magnificent view, our formal President Chiang occasionally long stay in Dasi. We are honored to locate beside the Dashi House. President Chiang visited our campus many times to give inspiration to our students. As to appreciate President Chiang’s kindness, we changed the name to “Wu Ling National Junior High School” in 1975. After awhile, as local’s suggestion, Dashi need a junior high school named after the town, therefore, our school was renamed as “Taoyuan County, Da-shi Junior High School” in August 1992.

:Our first location was on the east side of Dassi Town Chung Ching Park, the campus was around 1 hectare. In 1982, we are approved to establish night class but the campus area was too small. Therefore we moved to new campus on August 1985. The campus area is around 5 hectare. Our school covers the district of Hsinho, Fureng, Yuanmei, Ronghsin, Rongfu, Meihua, Yising, Tangsing etc.

Vision
:The districts out school cover are mixed with various industries such as farming, working and business fields which includes urban and country lifestyles but the increasing of population is limited. Therefore our school size maintains as it is now. Recent years, the Number 3 highway and expressway have made Dassi the satellite city of Taipei which we expect to have increasing population. Now, government is pushing for delicate national standard education which aims to decrease the number of students in each class therefore in the long run, we will reach 46 classes or above.

:Our hardware facilities are mostly created and will fully function in the future to provide the needs of teaching and community activities. We will also improve the computerized teaching facilities to improve our teaching quality.

:Continue to develop administrative teaching and counseling to improve service quality.

:Continue to embellish the campus. Re-establish the mountain track road and scouts activity ground. It is to fully function for community service and upgrade the leisure time quality.
