Darrin J Mason (born October 8, 1969) is an Australian christian fiction/horror author best known for his debut novel Ominious which focuses on such christian topics as spiritual warfare, angels and demons. Born in Stawell, Victoria and raised in Bellingen, New South Wales, Darrin has been involved in a variety of creative endeavours ie cartooning (for which he won an Australian Cartooning Award in 1999), painting abstract art, songwriting and radio production before settling on authoring works of fiction. Darrin, though christened a Presbyterian in his youth, is known to consider himself to be spiritual, or New Age, which is a philosophy he bases much of his writing on.
