Darren Conquest

Prior to arriving in Cambodia, Darren Conquest spent many years working for Sotheby’s, based in London he was the Deputy Director for Europe and Asia.
Arriving in Cambodia during February 2003 to work as a volunteer-professional with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. A placement arranged through VSO (UK).
Since then he has worked for several companies, both locally owned and Multi National Companies, such as Cambodia Brewery Ltd, Asia Pacific Brewery's subsidiary in Cambodia and TNT Cambodia and Laos.
Currently Darren is the:
Chief Development Office for the Hong Yang Corporation (HYC). A locally owned, 100% Cambodian funded, investment and management company.
Vice-Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Cambodia
Chairman of the Central School of Ballet Phnom Penh
He also holds several appointments with the Royal Government of Cambodia:
• Special Advisor on International Trade and Investment to H.E. Lok Sok An, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia
• Special Advisor to The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Legal and Consular Department
• Advisory Delegate to The Ministry of Commerce for its China - ASEAN Trade and Investment Secretariat.
Darren also holds the UK Titles:
Lord of Conquestbury, England, and;
Laird of Camster Burn, Scotland
