Dapo Awofisayo

Prince Adedapo Albert Awofisayo (also known as Dapo Awofisayo) is a Nigerian business executive, entrepreneur, philanthropist. He is the Group Executive Director of CPL Group and founder of Griffin Group.
Early life
Dapo Awofisayo was born in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria on 29th May 1988. He is a member of the Lafogido royal family of ile-ife, a descendant of Oduduwa and an Omoba of Yorubaland. His paternal grandmother was the first daughter of His Imperial Majesty Oba Ademiluyi Ajagun, the 48th Ooni of Ife. His mother is from the Agbonmagbe Royal family, one of the four ruling houses of Iperu, Ogun State. His maternal Grandfather, Chief Matthew Adekoya Okupe Agbonmagbe was the brother of His Royal Highness Oba Abraham Olayinka Okupe (1896-1976), who was Alaperu of Iperu from 1938 to 1976.
Education
Dapo Awofisayo was educated at University of Kent, where he obtained a B.Sc degree in Economics in July 2007. He gained admission into Cranfield School of management in 2007. He obtained an MSc degree in Finance and Management from Cranfield School of Management in June 2009.
Career
Dapo Awofisayo is the Group Executive Director of CPL Group, an organization with interests in manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare and real estate. A conglomerate that was founded by his father, Prince Albert Awofisayo in 1974 which initially started as Continental Pharmaceuticals Ltd (CPL). Dapo joined the organisation in 2012 after completing his National Youth Service. He also serves as Director of CPL Medical, Executive Director of Ore-Irele Oil Palm Company Ltd. In 2014, Dapo founded Griffin Group Nigeria.
Philanthropy
Dapo is on the board of several foundations focused on people with disabilities, autism and orphans.
