Daphne Plessner is Canadian born, studying at Emily Carr College of Art in Vancouver, BC as well as Palomar College in San Diego, California, finishing her degree in Fine Art in Germany at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, under the Fluxus artist Robin Page. She has completed a BA (Hons) Philosophy, University of London, where her central interest was in aesthetics. She has won a number of research grants and was selected by Tracey Emin and Sir Peter Blake for inclusion in the John Moores Contemporary Painting 24 Exhibition. Daphne Plessner is a Senior lecturer and Course Director at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London where she lectures on 20th century Aesthetic Theory & Book Arts.
