Dann Read is a former management team member with the now defunct wrestling promotion, along with Alex Shane, Mark Kay and Greg Lambert. Kay and Lambert were both introduced to the wrestling business by Read after a chance meeting with Lambert at S.W.A.T Revival in 2002. Read originally trained as a wrestler, via NWA UK Hammerlock, has worked as a referee for a number of promotions and as ring announcer for FWA, also commentating on FWA TV as well as being the current commentator on RQW TV on . He also hosted his own Internet and local community wrestling radio show in Ipswich where he is a passionate advocate of the British wrestling scene. Read promoted a very well-received show in Ipswich in July 2002, the FWA shows in Sudbury, Suffolk and co-promoted the FWA show in Colchester in April 2006 which featured Billy Kidman, stars of Pro-Wrestling NOAH and Bret Hart among many others. He also currently promotes and books X-Sports Wrestling and ChickFight events in the UK. Behind the scenes, he has worked backstage on shows for FWA, as well as International Showdown, Universal Uproar and the first RoH and TNA tours of the UK.
