Daniel S. Simpson

Daniel Stuart Simpson (born November 8 1969) is a singer/songwriter.
Daniel Simpson born to Robert and Sandra Simpson in Mineola NY. His family moved to the upstate New York town of Red Hook. Of Scottish descent, and belonging to Clan Fraser, Daniel began work based on his trips to Scotland, including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee. Highlights include photos of The Burrell Collection and Sauchiehall Street.
Most notable ancestor; James Young Simpson who discovered the anaesthetic properties of chloroform.
Lead singer for indie band Doctor Son and former singer for the hard rock band Baby New Year, Daniel has recorded and performed throughout the United States, gaining a reputation for bold, multi-media and visually charged performances.
In 2001 he created The Maestro Band, an animated series based on a fictional musical group with super powers. Later contracting Tom Ponte Model Makers to create the first MAESTRO sculpture. Working with Teddy Cook (Lock Up the Wolves), former bassist for DIO and Great White, Daniel recorded the album Color of Penny. Many works filed under pseudonym STUART DANIELS.
Continues work with Producer Paul Antonell (Natalie Merchant, George Clinton fame). Daniels group DOCTOR SON was one of the final acts to play the venerable CBGB in New York City in 2005. Continues work in medicine in New York City.
Daniel spent 2 years working for a private Dermatopathology laboratory (co owned by rock guitarist Edward Van Halen).
