Dan Gerberry

Dan Gerberry (born November 10, 1985) is a former American football center and current American football coach.
College career
Dan Gerberry played college football at Ball State University. As a Cardinal, Gerberry started all 14 games at center as a senior to and served as one of Ball State's captains. In his college career, started all 50 games. Played alongside Ball State standout players Nate Davis, and MiQuale Lewis.
Professional career
Detroit Lions
Gerberry was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2009. On December 23, 2009, he was promoted to the active roster after Melvin Fowler was waived. On August 31, 2012, Gerberry was waived from the Lions and not re-signed before the beginning of the regular season.
Jacksonville Jaguars
On May 16, 2013, Gerberry signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was released on September 1, 2013.
Coaching career
Youngstown State University
Gerberry started his coaching career as the Tight Ends Coach at Youngstown State University on March 5, 2014. He worked as part of the Penguins football program in 2013 as one of the offensive quality control assistants.
West Virginia University
After working as an Offensive Graduate Assistant at WVU (2015) and Pitt (2016), Gerberry served as a Senior Football Analyst for WVU in 2017. He was hired as/promoted to the Tight End/Fullbacks coach at West Virginia University on January 7, 2018.
