Dan Flint

You Me At Six
Dan joined You Me At Six in 2007, when their old drummer Joe Phillips was kicked out, just before the release of their first album: Take Off Your Colours. At first he was asked to fill in and they had 2 practices, before their biggest show they'd ever done, at that time. At the Camden Underworld. Dan then went on tour around the UK with them before he officially became a member of You Me At Six.
Starting Drums
Dan started drums at the age of 11, when he was given a list of instruments to choose from at school. At first he wanted to learn saxophone, but his mum said he should try something like drums. He loved playing drums, but at the age of 15 he had to give up sports because he got a bad back, so that was when he really got into them. That was when he got his first kit, a Pearl Export in red and black fade with red hardware.
