Dale F. Ogden is a Libertarian Party candidate for Governor of California in the 2010 election. Ogden works as an actuary in San Pedro, Los Angeles, California. Education Ogden received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Towson State University, where he served as the director of the alumni association. He then went on to study actuarial science as a postgraduate at Loyola College in Maryland, and then actuarial, insurance, and management courses at the College of Insurance. Past campaigns In 1998 he ran his first campaign as the Libertarian candidate for insurance commissioner in California. In 2002, Dale Ogden again was a candidate for Insurance Commissioner in California for the Libertarian Party. He also ran for California State Assembly in 2000 and California State Senate in 2004. In most of those elections he received 2% to 3% of the vote.
