Daga was a nationally ranked tennis player in Germany when she was recruited to Division 1 Virginia Tech. She played for Virginia Tech for four years on a full athletic scholarship. She was a member of the Atlantic 10 Championship Team from 1997 to 1999, is the second-winningest women’s tennis player in Virginia Tech history with 92 singles victories and holds the fourth All Time Highest Career Winning Percentage . Kriek currently runs the Johan Kriek Tennis Academy with her husband Johan Kriek. She has played in numerous exhibition and celebrity tournaments.
