Cyngres yr Eglwys yng Nghymru 1953 Welsh Church Congress Handbook The above conress which met at Llandrindod Wells in the mid - twentieth century was an attempt to define the historical and cultural identity of the newly disestablished Anglican Church in Wales (Welsh Church Act 1914 coming into effect in 1920). The Congress counted six speakers, each assigned a period of Welsh Christian history to summarize.
