The Wiggles are a world-renowned children's musical group, formed in Sydney, Australia, in 1991. Their fame is reflected by references to them in the world media. * In July 2009, in the long-running UK soap opera Coronation Street, character Eddie Windass (played by Steve Huison of The Full Monty fame) on sporting a red polo neck top was referred to by his wife Anna as "looking like one of The Wiggles". * Captain Feathersword was mentioned in the NBC political TV drama The West Wing fourth season episode entitled "Privateers," in which Josh Lyman sarcastically refers to First Lady Abigail Bartlet's ancestor, a privateer, as "Captain Feathersword." * In The Chaser's War on Everything, episode 106, The Wiggles song "Where's Jeff?" is parodied during the show's current affairs segment. * In the NBC comedy TV series Scrubs, Dr. Cox includes a reference to "Jeff that Wiggle that sleeps too darn much" in one of his rants at another character, J.D.. He also made reference to having seen them in concert twice and said "They opened and closed with Big Red Car.
