Cryoshell

Cryoshell is a Danish three/four-piece band best known for their work for Lego BIONICLE advertisements. The band consists of Christine Lorentzen (Lore) on vocals, Kasper Søderlund (Asp) on guitar and Mikkel Maltha (Kal) on Keyboard and bass, all of who are referred to by their nicknames. Cryoshell was formed in 2007 when the members were employees of Advance, the creative agency hired by LEGO, at the time. They recorded their first song, Creeping in my Soul, to help advertise BIONICLE's Barraki toyline. Since then the band has produced five singles and are set to release their first album in Spring 2010.
Songs
*Creeping in my Soul - This song was used for BIONICLE adverts in Winter 2007 to help promote the Barraki toyline. Cryoshell's album will include a remix of the song, which is currently available to purchase on iTunes. A music video for the remix will be released early 2010.
*Face Me - This song was used for the international versions of BIONICLE adverts in Summer 2007 to help promote the Toa Mahri toyline. While the music was produced by Cryoshell, vocals were provided by Niels Brinck. A remix will not be included on the band's album. The song is currently available for download on BIONICLE.com.
*Gravity Hurts - This song was used for BIONICLE adverts in Winter 2008 to help promote the Phantoka toyline and has been made into a music video. The song was also used in the BIONICLE retrospective video. Like in Face Me, music was produced by Cryoshell and Niels Brinck provided vocals. A remix will not be included in in the band's album either. The song is currently available for download on BIONICLE.com.
*Closer to the Truth - This song was used for BIONICLE adverts in Summer 2008 to help promote the Mistika toyline and has been made into a music video. Cryoshell's album will include a remix of the song, which is currently available to purchase on iTunes. The first version is currently available for download on BIONICLE.com.
*Bye Bye Babylon - This song was released in Summer 2009 and is currently available to purchase on iTunes. Parts of the song were used in the BIONCLE Glatorian and Glatorian Legends toyline adverts. The BIONICLE version of the song has slightly different lyrics to the iTunes version and is currently available for download on BIONICLE.com. The BIONICLE version of Bye Bye Babylon was also used in the closing credits of Bionicle: The Legend Reborn. Both versions of the song have been made into music videos, with the BIONICLE version featuring clips from Bionicle: The Legend Reborn. An extended version of the song was released on iTunes in Winter 2010 and is currently available to purchase.
*Falling - This song was released in Winter 2010 and is currently available to purchase on iTunes. The song will be included in the band's album.
*Murky - This song was released in Winter 2010 and is currently available to purchase on iTunes. The song will be included in the band's album.
Albums
*iTunes Releases - Cryoshell have released two singles, Bye Bye Babylon and the Creeping in my Soul remix, on to iTunes, as well as an EP from their upcoming Creeping in my Soul album, containing the Creeping in my Soul and Closer to the Truth remixes, Falling, Murky and an extended version of Bye Bye Babylon.
*Creeping in my Soul - The band's first album is due for release in early 2010 and will contain 10 songs, new and old. Confirmed songs include the songs from the Creeping in my Soul EP on iTunes. Gravity Hurts and Face Me will not be included - even though it's believed that both songs will be remixed and released in a future album.

Even though the band have various other people playing instruments in their songs, the three main members are referred to by their nicknames:

All three members were employees of Advance, the creative agency hired by LEGO, at the time the band was formed.

On their YouTube channel, the band has stated that they are trying to set up a tour, but don't know when it will start if they do.
