Crossvision is a Service-oriented architecture (SOA) suite from Software AG positioned around the topics of Business Process Management (BPM), Legacy Integration and SOA Management and Governance. One of the key goals is to support the BPM lifecycle including modeling, automation, management and process optimization. The product was launched in February 2006. In May 2006, a deal was announced to integrate crossvision with AmberPoint’s SOA management software. Core capabilities *SOA Management and Governance - providing control over services and their dependencies in an SOA *Composite Applications - allowing the creation of business applications based on industry standards such as AJAX and BPEL *Legacy Modernization - exposing functionality on legacy systems as Web services *Unification of BPM and SOA - merging capabilities of SOA and BPM in order to enables the creation of business processes.
