Critter-Tek

Critter-Tek is a set of rules for a tabletop miniatures combat game that was published by Crunchy Frog Enterprises in 1994.
Gameplay
Critter-Tek was designed by L. Douglas Garrett as a parody of FASA's tabletop miniatures wargame BattleTech. Instead of 12-metre-tall BattleMechs, players maneuver anthropomorphic animals. Many elements of the game parrot BattleTech, using a baseball theme — for example, "Com-Star" becomes "Allstar", the "Inner Sphere" becomes the "Infield".
Although the book was designed as a parody of BattleTech, it can actually be used as a miniatures combat game; the combat mechanics are taken straight from BattleTech. The use of combat rules and other elements of BatleTech was fully approved and licensed by FASA.
