Cristin E. Kearns

Dr. Cristin E. Kearns is known for her research on the effects of sugar on human health and for uncovering the secret funding that the Sugar Research Foundation gave to nutritionist researchers. She currently has six published works.
Biography
In 1998 Dr. Cristin Kearns earned her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in Dentistry at the University of North Carolina, in 1999 her General Practice Residency in Dentistry at University of Colorado, and her MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Health Administration at University of Colorado, Denver in 2006.
Dr. Kearns currently works at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in the department of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences in the School of Dentistry and the Philip R. Lee Institute for health Policy Studies in the School of Medicine. She is also an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. The letters revealed that those scientists had worked closely with the Sugar Research Foundation, which was trying to influence the publics opinion about sugar by paying off the scientists to falsify or suppress any data that created a negative public attitude towards sugar.<ref name="Bailey2016"/><ref name="O'connor2016"/> As Dr. Kearns continued to go through the letters she found evidence that told of the Harvard scientists (aided by the Sugar Research Foundation) covering up their own research, while working to cover up the findings published by other nutrition research groups as well.<ref name="Bailey2016"/>
