Creatures of the Slime was a series of Australian postage stamps illustrated by Peter Trusler. The series was first issued on the 21 April 2005 and were designed by Belinda Marshall. Set description The issue of stamps is focused upon the Ediacaran biota, a biota of soft-bodied organisms that existed for 635-538.8 Million years. They were printed by SNP Sprint with a maximum stamp size of 37.5mm x 26mm (1.476378 x 1.02362 inches). <ref name="Stampsofworld"/> The set of stamps were first issued on the 21 of April, 2005. the set includes 6 different stamps showing the most iconic of the Ediacaran Biota: Charniodiscus, Tribrachidium, Dickinsonia, Inaria, Kimberella and Spriggina. |
