CRCC Asia Ltd is comprised of two wholly owned subsidiaries, China Recruitment Ltd and China Consulting Ltd. It is a holding company registered in Hong Kong that operates out of offices in the United Kingdom, USA and China. CRCC Asia Ltd holds full stake in both China Recruitment Ltd and China Consulting Ltd. CRCC Asia Ltd is representative of a new wave of consulting firms that operate solely in the China market. Since the 2008 financial crisis unemployment and graduate unemployment have risen in most countries, resulting in fewer job opportunities for students and graduates. Consequently, many students and graduates choose to intern with a company in their sector in order to gain work experience in order to join the workforce. About the Company & History In August 2006, China Recruitment Ltd was established in London by Oxford graduate, Daniel Nivern. Originally, the firm's main purpose was to assist Chinese companies to employ British graduates. It provided the link between Chinese firms that were looking for native English speakers and which were keen to understand Western business practices. China Recruitment Ltd spearheaded an internship program for UK students and graduates looking for short term work placements in Chinese domestic and multinational companies in Beijing Also in August 2006, China Consulting Ltd, now CRCC Asia Ltd, was founded by Cambridge graduate, Edward Holroyd Pearce. Its objective is to provide assistance to UK based small and medium enterprises looking to gain market entry into China. This follows a significant increase in interest among British firms looking to invest in China. Like the China-Britain Business Council, China Consulting Ltd offers strategic recommendations and cross cultural training as part of a customized service that caters to a broad spectrum of requirements from strategy to implementation. It also provides market research as part of this service. China Recruitment Ltd and China Consulting Ltd were both operated from an office in London with a small team consisting of both Chinese and British employees. The following year, the companies expanded their operations to Beijing, and in October 2009 opened an office in the United States. CRCC Asia Ltd was registered in Hong Kong in December 2008 and was formed through the acquisition of China Recruitment Ltd and China Consulting Ltd.
