Craig Jacobs

Craig Jacobs was an American stage manager known most notably on Broadway and for his work as the longtime production stage manager of Phantom of the Opera.
Career
Craig Jacobs' Broadway career began in 1974 with Good News, and he subsequently became the stage manager of choice for some of the theatre's top directors: Bob Fosse (the original Chicago, Sweet Charity), Arthur Laurents (Gypsy), and Hal Prince (Cabaret, , Phantom of the Opera).
As a trusted stage manager, Jacobs worked on some of Broadway's most memorable musicals. These included Gypsy, both 1989 and 2008, Falsettos, My Fair Lady, and Grease.<ref name=":0" />
Jacobs was also known as a mentor to stage managers, mentoring a generation of stage managers on Broadway.<ref name=":1" />
Death
Jacobs died November 22, 2021.<ref name":0" /> The lights of the Majestic Theatre were dimmed on December 6, 2021, at 7:25PM EDT for one minute in his honor.<ref name":1" />
