C-Prize or CPrize is short for Creativity Prize. CPrize is designed to be a public response mechanism for the world’s problems. It also allows each of us to ‘put our money where our mouth is’. CPrize aims to stimulate preemptive answers or incentives to problems. It provides a version of the X-Prize where you have a say in the prizes, and challenge requirements.
CPrize started with two exciting challenges that make a real difference, HiBots (a transportation technology challenge with environmental benefits which will happily work in competition with the Google Lunar X-Prize as a less expensive, faster approach. The second is the Life Phaser (a challenge to protect life within law enforcement and security, to replace deadly alternatives.)
