Costa Rica Skies Airlines was a charter airline serving destinations throughout the Americas based in San José, Costa Rica. It was founded in 2002, though flight services only started in 2006 with a MD-82. In 2008, the airline was shut down again due to financial problems.

Legal problems
In 2008, the company was submit to investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA); according to that U. S. Government Organization, the company was founded like a shell corporation, his founder was Jorge Enrique Pérez Ruiz, alias "Pinocho", colombian narco. Suspicions increased when they see that the company, in all his business life, only had two commercial fllights, one disappeared and another send cocaine to Costa Rica from Venezuela. Also, the company has only one commercial airplane.
In 2016, Perez was sentenced to 5 years in jail by order of a colombian judge.
