Corey charron

Corey Charron, better known by his stage name Charron, is a Canadian rapper born and raised in Orleans, Ontario.
At the age of 17, he became the Rugged Culture freestyle champion. He later joined Toronto's King of the Dot league, defeating Sandman, J-Walker, Syco and winning his first 5 battles.
Charron currently travels North America battle-rapping, and has said he hopes to expand to the UK through the Don't Flop battle league.
King of the Dot
King of the Dot is Canada's largest battle rap league. The league is hosted by Canadian battle rap legend . It's affiliated with World Star Hip Hop, Hip Hop Canada and Grindtime. Charron is highly acclaimed for his rebuttal ability, observational freestyle and improvisation. It'a the largest and most notorious battle rap league in the country. Charron quickly became a fan favorite for his extremely witty metaphors and quick witted rebuttals. Charron was interviewed by MTV's own Gary Hampton. Charron's interview and a few of his lines are in heavy roation on the MTV channel.
Accomplishments
-Bo Burnham(Who was featured in the Adam Sandler movie Funny People) personally posted Charron's work on his own fan page. He is said to have promised Charron a collaboration in the future.
-Bigmouths Online discussed Charron on 88.1 FM along with Classified in regards to the top rappers in Canada at the moment.
-Charron and the rest of King Of The Dot were interviewed and featured on MTV. Charron was also in the KOTD commercial for MTV.
-He can also be seen in an article for the Canadian Musician Magazine. Charron along with Kid Twist, Organik, Pat Stay, Loe Pesci and Hollohan were mentioned as Canada's best battler rappers.
-Was in a recording studio with Canadian icon Choclair
-Charron is the first Canadian to win the Tourettes freestyle competition, Hosted by Jamie DeWolf from HBO. American emcees like illmaculate and Thesaurus established their names there.
-Opened up and co hosted for Karl Wolf in Cornwall.
-Recently traveled down to California and became the third Canadian to win a Grind Time Battle. Which is the biggest battle rapping league in the world. Grindtime has featured many legends like The Saurus and iLLmaculate. They also featured American comedian Andy Milonakis, who co starred in the Hollywood hit Waiting.
Music career
King of the Dot is now working with Canadian rapper Peter Jackson on his debut album. He was featured on 88.1 Fm in Toronto discussing his KOTD Career. Has been interviewed and worked with Toronto company Bigmouths several times. The management for Canadian icon Drake noticed Charron on hiphopcanada.com and posted a comment on his battle. It's also been speculated the Charron's battles have caught the attention of Canadian rap legend Classified. Charron placed 5th in the poll "Hottest Canadian artists under 20." At a young age he has already accomplished a Grind Time win, Tourettes Champion, MTV spotlight and is now working on his debut album.
