thumb Cooper Holmes (born May 8, 1997) is an American basketball player. Holmes ranks 14th on the Kansas high school basketball all-time scoring list, scoring 2,192 career points. Only 17 others have scored 2,000 or more career points in the history of Kansas high school basketball. Holmes is Concordia High School's all-time leader in points, rebounds, and steals. The Kansas legend was a three time First Team All-State selection and was twice named the 4A Kansas Player of the Year. Holmes averaged 27.1 points per game in his senior campaign and added 10 rebounds a game. He was also a finalist for Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year by USA Today. He now plays at the collegiate level for the Washburn Ichabods. The Ichabods compete in the top of the line NCAA Division II conference, the MIAA. Holmes is coached under legendary coach Bob Chipman.
