Colours of the Culture is a collective of artistic visionaries, founded by New York born, Syrian producer, Thanks Joey and Brazilian born Hip Hop artist, NIKO IS.

Colours Of The Culture includes but is not limited to Thanks Joey (producer) NIKO IS (MC) Truly Def (MC), Krikos (producer), Gallardo (visual artist) Chris Smith (filmmaker), Henry Daher (producer), Paulina Vo (singer), Seth Byrd (comedian), The Narcysist (author, musician, actor, professor, filmmaker), Talib Kweli (MC), Chaz Van Queen (MC, producer), K'Valentine (MC) and Palmer Reed (MC, singer, songwriter, musician). The album features Javotti Media artists Talib Kweli, NIKO IS, K’Valentine and MK Asante alongside Styles P., Thirstin Howl III, Chaz Van Queen, The Narcycist and more. ROY G BIV was made available for free download on Talib Kweli’s online store, KweliClub.com.

Members
Thanks Joey has contributed production to Talib Kweli’s discography and has been a long time collaborator of NIKO IS, including production for the entirety of NIKO’s debut album, Brutus.
With the February 2015 release of his debut album, Brutus, NIKO IS’ toured internationally to gain critical acclaim. His sophomore album, Uniko, is to be released in 2016.
The Narcycist, an Iraqi MC, journalist, and professor who lives in Montreal, published the critically acclaimed book Diatribes of A Dying Tribe and was featured on the Furious 7 Soundtrack with his song "Humdulillah."
Gallardo has also contributed to Talib Kweli's discography, hand painting the cover art for his Train Of Thought: Lost Lyrics, Rare Releases & Beautiful B-Sides.
Harlem resident Chaz van Queen's program, Building Beats, teaches music production and the art of DJing to children in the New York City public school system.
Brazilian born Henry Daher is currently working on a project with Styles P of The Lox.

Colours of the Culture TV
Coinciding with their debut album, Colours of the Culture launched COTC TV on October 6, 2015. COTC TV is an online web series featuring day in the life footage of NIKO IS, Thanks Joey, DJ Spintellect and Federico. Episodes release weekly on Uproxx.com The series is shot, directed and edited by Kayla Reefer.
