Colin Maguire is a horror author and playwright. Biography Colin Maguire was born on June 26, 1968 to Carl and Rosemarie (Scooty) Maguire. He grew up in or around the Omaha, Nebraska and South Sioux City, Nebraska areas. Maguire graduated from Papillion-LaVista High School in 1987. He is a mostly self-taught writer, with no formal writing education past high school, having failed two attempts at film school classes at colleges in Colorado and Nebraska, where he first explored his bi-sexuality. Themes Maguire writes monster stories as well as stories about abused people.
