BioData About Poet And Writer thumbnail Lt.Col Muhammad Khalid Khan was born in Abbottabad on 1st May 1958 .His father Prof Muhammad Younas Khan is a renowned figure of the area. After completing his Bachelor Level education, he did his MA in English and LL.B from University of the Punjab.In 1985 he got Commission in Pakistan Army as an English Instructor.During his service he did MA TEFL,MA Education and Diploma in TEIL under the auspices of British Council and American Centre .He is a celebrated poet of English and published two books of English Poetry i.e FEELINGS and CHAINS OF LIFE.For his poem EXCELLENCE he was declared best poet by the Society of International Poetry in the year 2006-7.Besides his deep interest in English Poetry, he published three books in Urdu Poetry i.e PABA GILL,ANNAP SHANAP and GULAB REHNEY DEY. He remained Editor of four English Magazines.e Pakistan Army Green Book,Pakistan Army Journal. Defence Review and The Rising Crescent.
