Coca Cola Cowboys

C. C. Cowboys, short for Coca-Cola Cowboys, is a Swedish pejorative term for U.S. soldiers, as lackeys of "American imperialism". The term was used and made popular in a 1985 Anti-Imperialist rock song by the leftist band Imperiet, criticizing the two opposing super powers of the Cold War. On the other side of the Iron Curtain stood the "Kalashnikov Comrades" of the Soviet Red Army.
The original song is in Swedish, but in 1988 an English version of the song was recorded, included on the album Imperiet.
Kalashnikov Comarades, are calling from the grave
Coca-Cola Cowboys and we know what to say
Hallo Hurray
We are the great
We are the soldiers of the Human Race
