Clipper music

Clipper are a heavy rock band formed in South Wales in early 2000. Early demos including Deprived and Star were recorded at 24/7 Studios in Pontypool. Demo EP 'Whisky and Pedals' was recorded in 2001 at 24/7 studios - the lead track of which (SWAG TIM) was voted as Best Rock track by BURBS (a British Underground Rock Band website) - and was released on a compilation of unsigned music by Matchbox records. Clipper gained recognition from James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers who listed Clipper among the exciting new Welsh bands up and coming in a BBC2 interview. Debut single My Tendency was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth. The single featured 3 tracks - My Tendency, Gotta Say and How Do You Feel. The band were also interviewed for Big Issue magazine.
