Cliff Hammond is the Sales Director for the Manor Cabinet Company of Swindon. He has risen through the ranks within the British kitchen industry. His early years were spent at Richard Turner's Artic Computing working with, among others, Charles Cecil MBE and Tony Warriner, now of Revolution Software. Following the collapse of the computer games market in the mid 80's, Artic Computing developed and sold computer aided design software to kitchen, bedroom & bathroom Specialists. He assisted in the launch of this software and its subsequent penetration into the kitchen and bathroom industry. He came to the attention of Michael Lawrence at the national appliance distributor Waterline. Following 5 years of developing a dealer base, in 1997 he won the prestigious Sales Manager Of The Year Award sponsored by EMAP Business Publication and the Kitchen Specialists Association, known then as the KSA, now known as the KBSA. He was subsequently recruited by Sir Bob Murray at the Doncaster based Omega Plc to launch a ready to assemble kitchen furniture product line manufactured under license from Royal Doulton Plc, using their brand name. Having established a network of over 200 showrooms nationwide, including export to the Middle East, he was approached to take up the newly appointed role as Sales Director at the Manor Cabinet Company in Swindon.
