Cleo Babbitt is a fictional character on the American soap opera As the World Turns. She was introduced on April 6, 2007 and was played by Jennifer Landon, who also plays Gwen Norbeck. The character's last appearance was on July 10. Character's background Little is made known to the audience about Cleo except that she closely resembled Gwen Norbeck, except having dark-brown hair and a gap-toothed smile. She left her hometown of Turlock, California to a start new life for herself in Oakdale. Responding to an advertisement posted on the Internet by Jade Taylor, Cleo came to Oakdale. Jade told her to dress up like Gwen Norbeck, in an effort to break up Gwen and Will for good. Once she got wind of the plans, she decided to venture out on her own, despite Jade's insisting that she leave Oakdale. She was arrested after tying Gwen and Jade to train tracks. It was later mentioned that she would be given psychological treatment. |
