Clayton Charles Junkins (born January 11, 1990) is a Republican candidate for the office of Mayor, in Jacksonville, Florida. He filed his candidacy with the Duval County Supervisor of Elections in April of 2009 for the 2011 election circuit. Biography Clayton Junkins was born in the city of Newport News, Virginia to Sue and Scott Junkins. Scott Junkins was away at boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois at the time of his son's birth. A military family, the Junkins moved around a lot over Clayton Junkins' childhood; they have lived in Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. Before moving to Jacksonville, Junkins lived in Middleburg, Florida located in Clay County. On June 3, 2008 Junkins graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, he enrolled that Fall at Flagler College where he is a political science major with a pre-law minor. |
