After classes is the time to go to the area where the CAT HQ (headquarters) is located and the officers must report while the cadets remain outside. A formation is the gathering of the CAT officers and III-year COCC (with II-year COCC) that the platoon must form while having an officer/president (or someone, that is instructed by the commandant) to form the officers/cadets. For the cadets (mostly II-year and III-year new recruits) if being commanded by the commander in front of the platoon, every single command that is given, the commander will demonstrate the command, then the commander will ask and the platoon must answer back (either english or filipino) Sir/Ma'am. Yes/no sir/ma'am. or Ginoo/Binibini. Opo/Hindi po ginoo/binibini,then officers will check on every single cadet to show the right command then it will repeat on the other commands that the commander will give until the day of training has ended.
