Cinnamoncoin

Cinnamoncoin (unofficial ISO 4217: CIN) is an experimental open source cryptocurrency project based on Litecoin created in 2013, in a wave of copycats springing up similar to Bitcoin or Litecoin. Every block generates 64 coins, as compared to the 50 that Litecoin produces. According to the developer, the goal of the project was to create a cryptocurrency that no longer took the mining power of the "few elite" in order to generate the currency. Using the scrypt hashing algorithm, Cinnamoncoins can be mined using the same tools as Litecoin, even as it shares much code through inheritance from Bitcoin. There are at least two mining pools which have already been made available for prospective users.
