Chris Walters

Chris Walters is an American contemporary photographer. His most recognizable work involves his stylized location portraiture and his object centered landscapes.
Biography
Born in Marion, Ohio on June 26, 1978. Married to Sara Walters (nee Golden) in 2002.
Career
Walters studied photography at the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology in Dayton, Ohio were he graduated with honors. He moved to Cleveland in 2001 to work forAmerican Greetings. From 2001 through 2003 he assisted various photographers in Cleveland. He stopped assisting in 2003 to work as a staff photographer for a Cleveland commercial studio. He left the studio in 2006 to pursue his freelancing career as a photographer. From 2006 through 2008 he became Clevelands principal Photographic assistant working with Nationally Recognized Editorial and advertising photographers such as Martin Schoeller, Chris Mcpherson, and Lyndon Wade. Walters has been a regular contributing photographer to Great Lakes Publishing since 2007. He has photographed some of Clevelands premiere sports stars including, Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James, and Gary Waters. Walters influences include photographers Martin Schoeller, Terry Richardson, and Todd Hido.
