Chris Saint Clark

Chris Saint Clark (born April 11, 1973) is an American tattoo artist based out of Nashville, Tennessee. He specializes in black and grey realism tattooing and wrote the book The Holy Black and Grayl.
Early life and Education
Clark was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Chris studied at Minnesota art school through correspondence during high school and later received his bachelors in arts through Canterbury University. In high school, one of his friends made a tattoo machine and made a tattoo on Clark’s arm, which developed his interest in the tattoos.
Career
In 1997, he become an apprentice of Tony Olivas and the Sacred Heart Tattoo studio. He worked with several tattoo artists there and then moved to Savannah and subsequently to Nashville, where he opened his studio called Kustom Thrills Tattoo.
Clark is a member of the Alliance of Professional Tattooers, the National Tattooist Association and the Bristol Tattoo Club. He is the author of the book “The Holy Black and Grayl” a guide on the black and grey style.
