Christopher James Percival is an entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of the Cheshire-based medical services provider, Jigsaw Medical. Early life Before attending Oxford Brookes University in 2012 to study Paramedic Emergency Care, Percival was a student at Tarporley High School. He started his first business at the age of 14, designing websites for family and friends before starting Jigsaw Medical in 2012. Percival graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a distinction. Career Percival started Jigsaw Medical in 2012 whilst still studying at Oxford Brookes University and later acquired Chester based training company Marton Life Support in the same year. Profits for Jigsaw Medical grew 382% in 2014. In the financial year of 2015, Jigsaw grew over 500% compared with its 2014 results. Percival also opened up an office in Australia in November 2014. Jigsaw Medical was described by the Chester Chronicle as "one of the UK's leading medical providers". Percival is a member of the Larrey Society, a discussion forum for pre-hospital care organisation executives and advisers, formed in the United Kingdom in 2015 to influence policy on emergency medical services. He also remains a HCPC Registered Paramedic. Percival and his company have provided medical teams for events including the Virgin STRIVE Challenge and the Tour de France where Jigsaw Medical provided a team of 200 paramedics, nurses and doctors for the Grand Départ 2014 in Yorkshire. Recognition and awards In 2014, he won the Best Enterprise - North in the Lloyds Bank Enterprise Awards. At 23 years old, Percival was the youngest person to be included in the Business Insider magazines '42 Under 42' in 2015, of most promising business leaders and entrepreneurs under the age of 42 from the North West. In 2016 Percival was included in the list of "100 Most Influential British Entrepreneurs" published by Richtopia, alongside Richard Branson and Lord Sugar.<ref name=richtopia/>
