Henry Christopher John Leathley, known as Chris Leathley, is former head of boys' physical education at Morley High School (which he attended as a boy), now Schools Sports Coordinating Officer (SSCO) in Morley, West Yorkshire. He is the son of the late local councillor and entertainer Harold 'Leo' Leathley.
Sporting notability
* Played in Morley Rugby Club's winning side in 1972, 1973 and 1974.
* Coached Morley Rugby Club when they made their historic run of promotion all the way to National League Two, which is today National Division One, just one below the Guinness Premiership.
* Vice President of Morley Rugby Club for the 2009/2010 season.
* Played basketball for England in the 1970's
* Captained Hanging Heaton Cricket Club to Bradford League Division 1 victory.
* Captained the Bradford Cricket League side.
* At the age of 56 won the 2007 Huddersfield Central Cricket League bowling averages award whilst playing for Westborough Cricket Club (as of 2008 known as Thornhill and Westborough Cricket Club). His bowling statistics for the season were as follows: 130 overs, 30 maidens, 368 runs, 37 wickets, average 9.95.
