Chris Hodges is senior pastor of Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2001, Hodges founded the church which began meeting in the fine arts auditorium at Mountain Brook High School. Church of the Highlands experienced significant growth under Hodges' leadership. In 2008, Outreach Magazine recognized the church as the fastest growing church in the United States. Hodges has been noted for his empowering and simple approach to leadership. In addition to his work with people, Hodges has been recognized for his skill in managing the business side of the ministry. Other Work In 2000, Hodges co-founded the Association of Related Churches, a non-profit organization committed to church planting and development. |
