Chris Hamer (born April 3, 1961) is an American businessman, inventor, and the founder and CEO of CrowdFlik, Inc. Career In 2001 Chris Hamer was named the Director of Marketing for OnStar. On 1 August 2003, Hamer was named as the Director of Marketing for Cadillac. On 1 July 2004, Hamer was named to the position of Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Sony Music including the SONY BMG Group. CrowdFlik is based in Fairfield, Connecticut and was founded in 2012. CrowdFlik is a mobile video platform that automatically synchronizes mobile video and organizes it based on location, event or groups of users. Chris Hamer was named as the sole inventor for US patent #9,129,640 that was issued on September 8, 2015. This patent is in the name of CrowdFlik, Inc. and covers "automatic synchronization and upload of mobile video". CrowdFlik and Hamer have 10 additional patents pending. Volunteer In September, 2015 the Dolan School of Business of Fairfield University named Chris Hamer as their 2015-2016 Entrepreneur-in-Residence. In the Fall 2015 Semester Mr. Hamer joined the head of the University's Management Department Dr. Carl Scheraga to co-teach his Technology Ventures 337 class. Together Hamer and Scheraga worked with the students on two companies that Mr. Hamer presented as ideas to build out during the semester. In January, 2016 Chris Hamer escorted a team of 4 Fairfield University students to Las Vegas, NV during the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in order for them to pitch their two new companies to the producers of Shark Tank at an open audition.
