Chris Geiger

Chris Geiger (born 1966 in Sussex, England) is a writer and columnist for a number of newspapers and magazines.

After being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 1992 he underwent two years of treatment, which included Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and a Bone marrow transplant. He is now fully recovered and draws from his first-hand knowledge as a cancer survivor for material for his newspaper columns. In addition to his weekly hospital articles, Chris reviews concerts, sporting events and theatre.
In 2009 Chris was appointed as an Ambassador for Cancer Research UK and has been actively campaigning on a wide range of cancer related issues. These include Improved Cancer Screening Programmes, The Sunbeds Act and more recently lobbying politicians to keep cancer a high priority throughout the British Government.
Chris Geiger lives near Bristol, with his wife Catherine.
