Chris Bullock started his career in Nashville, Tennessee under the training of Jerry Lawler, Jerry Jarrett, and Mike Davis. He was regarded as one of the sports first 2 gimmick wrestlers. Wrestling as a heel known as Dangerous Doug, and then as a Baby Face American Eagle.

Chris was signed by the Global Wrestling Federation less than 1 year into the business. Their he became a big superstar using the American Eagle gimmick known as another name " Can not use as the name is under copyright laws" He wrestled many top opponents and was regarded as one of the organizations top superstars.

Chris was signed by the NWA by Jim Crockett where he competed until it was purchased by Ted Turner and renamed WCW and was released after an injury

After Crockett promotions Chris left the business for many years and at one point it was rumored he had been shot and killed outside a Nashville Nightclub in 2004. Which was not the case Chris was married and
still attended wrestling cards in Nashville for USWO, but insisted he was through with the sport as a competitor.

In 2007 USWO honored Chris Bullock as a Mid South Living Legend for what he did for the business, and how he helped make hard-core wrestling what it is today.

Chris will forever be known for his submission style wrestling which was often compared to Dean Malenko, he learned these during a short stint in Nashville, competing in tough-man competitions. He will also be remembered for his dual personas as a heel and as a babyface, both he did incredibly well.
