Chris Bellamy, born Christopher Eric Bellamy August 3, 1978 in Virginia Beach, Virginia is a saxophonist and guitarist in the Hampton Roads area. His father, Lance Bellamy, is a violin maker and his mother, Emily Bellamy, is an educational professor for the University of Virginia. Chris has performed with artists Gladys Knight, Toni Tennille of Captain and Tennille, Tommy Newsom of the Tonight Show band, and woodwind specialist, Chris Vadala. Chris is currently the guitarist and founding member of the band, MIRUS, as well as the guitarist for hip hop group, ChEK & the Family. He is the Music Director of International Christian Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and teaches at The Music Staff, Inc. as well as Norfolk Academy. Chris currently resides in Virginia Beach with his wife Susan Domondon Bellamy.
